Face cards also correspond to the elements, the Page to Earth, the Knight to Air, the Queen to Water and the King to Fire. So if a face card comes from a suit of the same correspondence, it multiplies its strength manifolds.
The Major Arcana is a little different set of cards twenty two in number from zero to twenty one without any suit attached to them. The symbols made on these cards are said to peep deep inside the spiritual journey of a person.
